High Top Mountain Shenandoah Elopement

Elopements Inspiration Weddings

"Climb the mountain not to plant your flag, but to embrace the challenge, enjoy the air and behold the view. Climb it so you can see the world, not so the world can see you. " Shenandoah National Park has so many places that are perfect for a mountain elopement. Hiking adventure elopements don't seem to be too popular in Virginia, but I can't understand WHY! How cool is it to get up at sunrise, hike in the solitude of the mountains with your soulmate, and say your vows at Blue Ridge Mountain summit? I may be biased because I myself eloped in Colorado at 12,000 feet, but to me, it just feels so special. It has been so warm this fall that we hiked High Top Mountain in mid-October and it was warm, and the leaves hadn't begun to change yet! However, we caught the cold front coming in and got to witness one of the first ever cloud inversions I have seen in the valley. The backdrop made for a heaven like background, and we were quite literally in the clouds. Interested in eloping? Let me help you!
